    The 13th International Conference on Megagauss Magnetic Field Generation and Related Topics (MG-XIII) will be held on July 06-10, 2010, in Suzhou, China P.R..

    There will be invited lectures, oral and poster presentations in the conference. The official languages of the conference are Chinese and English.

•  ultrahigh and non-destructive pulsed magnetic field generation

•  high magnetic field physics

• explosive and common high pulsed power technology and their applications in physical experiments, including explosively driven magnetic flux compression generators and high current sources

• high current, high power switches and power conditioning technology

• electromagnetically driven high energy density physics, including electromagnetic implosion of liners and Z-Pinch physics

• experimental diagnosis and numerical simulations in related fields

• related topics

The five-day conference format will provide excellent opportunity for both presentation and discussions about topics of common interest to conference participants.

      The program of MG-XIII conference (MG-XIII Program V2.doc and MG-XIII Program V2.pdf) has been revised. Some presentation forms have been changed. A few colleagues withdraw report due to their absence. Please check and make sure your presentation status is correct. If there is any question, please contact us.

       For oral presentations, we suggest you prepare with MS office and save as .ppt file format (if you use MS Office 2007, please make sure save as .ppt format). Considering compatibility, you’d better send your presentation to us via e-mail in advance. We will test and make sure no trouble in showing them.

       For poster presentations, the size should not be larger than 60 cm (width)*90 cm (length).  

       The organizing committee is doing preliminary room arrangement according to reservation information. If you still need help in reservation room in Nanlin, please inform us the basic information about your stay in Suzhou.

       Regarding to the accommodation on July 10th, the organizing committee has bad and good news for you. The bad news is we have to move to Haihong Hotel (Sky Rainbow International, 4-star) instead of Rhea Hotel since Rhea can’t meet our need in some aspects. The good news is Haihong Hotel has much better environment (downtown of Hongkou District) and much convenient transportation (few hundred meters from Metro Line 3). The fee in Sky Rainbow is 520RMB/night for single and double room.

      As mentioned earlier, in principle, the organizing committee will arrange two attendees or attendee and his/her companion to share a room (two beds or a single big bed). The registration fee includes the accommodation fee of July 10th. A few colleagues ask if they could have a room alone if they are willing to pay the extra fee. The answer is Yes. Sky Rainbow has enough rooms, allowing us to do so.

      For those who wants to check out after July 11th, you could get a contract price (520 RMB/night, two breakfast included), too. When arriving at Sky Rainbow, the organizing committee will help you to prolong your reservation.
