       Tour Chinese religious Taoist temple and Budist templein one day. Enjoy Sichuan "Mapo Toufu".

       Tour famous Taoist Qingcheng mountain and Dujiangyan Irrigation System.
Day 3
       After historical attraction tour to Wuhou shrine, enjoy lunch at famous restraurant "Long Chao Shou" where you will taste different types of delicious Sichuan foods, then enjoy shopping afternoon.
Dujiangyan Irrigation System

    The Dujiangyan Irrigation system is a miracle of ancient Chinese ingenuity. Before the completion of Dujiangyan, the plains around the Min River were prone to floods due to the fast moving Min River flowing down from its mountain source and meeting flat ground. It was in the Warring States period about 2200 years ago, that the engineer Li Bing and his son led the construction of the Dujiangyan irrigation system that tamed the Min River and irrigated the surrounding plains.
        On the 29th of November 2000,Dujiangyan Irrigation system and Mt.Qingcheng were placed on the world cultural Heritage list

Qingcheng Mountain :

Just situated in the northwest of Dujiangyan, is a famous Taoist Mountain and the place of the Taoist origin. Taoism is one the most popular religion in China. Different from other regligions, it mostly focuses on attitude of living, emphasizing following the nature of human. Peak upon peak and tree after tree, it is green all year around and is best known for its secludedness and quietness.

Wuhou Shrine

The shrine is situated in the southern suburb of Chengdu. Wuhou might be translated as "minister or war marquis".That was the title given to ZhugeLiang, a famous military strategist of the tree Kingdoms period (AD220-280),immortalised in Chinese traditional literature，the tale of the Three Kingdoms. If read some stories about the Three Kingdoms in English translation before visit, you could find more enjoyment here.
